Overview:

An opportunity for an AWS Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to provide round-the-clock support including 24x7 shifts and on-call assistance for customer environments. This role involves maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring backup integrity, and troubleshooting production environments using AWS services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and configure AWS VPCs, Subnets, Transit Gateway, NAT Gateways, and Internet Gateway.
• Maintain EC2 instances, and EKS clusters including nodes and pods using YAML and Terraform scripting.
• Deep technical knowledge of EKS resources such as services, node affinity, ConfigMaps, deployments, DaemonSets, ReplicaSets, managed and self-managed node groups.
• Use AWS CloudWatch to set up alerts and alarms for system monitoring and incident response.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues within AWS environments effectively.
• Manage AWS storage services including EFS, EBS, S3, and Network File System (NFS).
• Implement Auto Scaling for resilient infrastructure.
• Maintain backups and snapshots of instances, restoring as necessary to ensure data integrity.
• Work with IAM roles, policies for security control, SSL certificates management, and DNS management via Route53 integrating with external DNS providers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement).
• 2-4 years AWS engineering support experience.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure management, Kubernetes (EKS), storage solutions, and security policies.
• Experience supporting production environments with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable working in 24x7 shift and on-call support mode.

Work Environment:

This is a non-hybrid role based in Telangana, India, requiring on-site or dedicated shift coverage for continuous customer support.
